2nd Line IT Support Engineer. Based in Manchester City Centre, my client has a new requirement for for an 2nd Line IT Support Engineer. This role offers 2 days WFH – remote / with 3 days site-based working.
Please note: There will be a requirement to travel to different sites to cover, projects, meetings, etc – Full driving licence preferred. You must also have a flexible approach to working hours as the role does require out of hours support and weekend work (You will be on call 1 week in every 4 or 5 weeks after you have settled into the role but you will receive an extra £2k on-call allowance).
You must have 2 years plus experience within an 2nd Line Support/desktop support role with the ability to actually resolve calls. You must have technical skills in Windows 7/Windows 10, Active Directory, Networking skills (DNS, VLANs, etc), Windows Desktops, MS Office, good problem solving skills, clear & concise telephone manner. Any skills in Cisco or SQL would be a bonus!
