2nd/3rd Line IT Technical Support role required on Guernsey Island.

Required skills for the role:-

Advanced Troubleshooting Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving more complex hardware, software, and network issues that first line support cannot handle. This includes a deep understanding of operating systems, applications, and network protocols.

Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of company-specific products and services, as well as industry standards and practices. Familiarity with tools like Active Directory, PowerShell, and various IT management software. Solid understanding of PC hardware, software, and operating systems, particularly Windows and O365.

Analytical Skills: The ability to analyse and interpret technical information to identify and solve problems efficiently. This includes understanding logs, error messages, and performance metrics.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This includes the ability to write clear technical documentation and reports.

Project Management Abilities: Experience in managing IT projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring. This involves coordinating with different teams and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
